Certificates

Pass a full exam, finish a course, or complete a learning plan and you earn a certificate carrying your name, the date, your result and a credential ID. Anyone can check it is genuine through its verification link, without signing in. Certificates are free and never expire.

A certificate is only worth something if a stranger can check it. Every certificate carries a QR code and an ID that anyone can verify without an account.

The Three Certificates

Earning One From an Exam

An exam certificate has three conditions, and all three have to be met by the same exam:

70% or higher — your score on the exam.
At least 30 questions — shorter exams do not qualify.
Full coverage — the exam has to cover every subtopic in the topic, not a selection of them.

If you have not met all three yet, opening View Certificate tells you exactly which condition is missing — so you know whether to raise your score, add questions, or widen the exam.

Where to Find Yours

A View Certificate button appears on your exam results, on the course page, and on the learning plan page.

Certificates are not listed in Examination History — that screen shows your exam results and scores. Go to the exam result, course or learning plan itself to open its certificate.

What Is On It

Your name, as it appears on your profile.
What you completed — the topic, course or learning plan.
The date it was issued.
The final result — your score and the number of questions for an exam certificate, or Completed for a course or plan.
A credential ID beginning with LC-.
A QR code that opens the verification page.

Downloading It

Preview opens the certificate so you can look at it. Download PDF opens the same view ready to print — use your browser's print dialog and choose Save as PDF to keep a copy.

Proving It Is Genuine

Every certificate carries a verification link, and the QR code on it points to that link. Anyone can open it without an account and without signing in.

They are shown whether the certificate is valid, what it was awarded for, who it was awarded to, the date it was issued, and the verification ID. Your score is not shown on the verification page — that stays on the certificate itself.

After It Is Issued

Certificates are permanent. They are never deleted and stay verifiable indefinitely.

A certificate records what you achieved at the moment you earned it. Retaking the same exam later and scoring higher does not change a certificate you already hold.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do certificates cost credits? ›

No. Earning, viewing, downloading and verifying a certificate are all free, and no paid plan is needed.

I passed my exam but got no certificate. Why? ›

All three conditions have to be met by the same exam: 70% or higher, at least 30 questions, and full coverage of the topic. Open View Certificate and it will tell you which one is missing.

I scored higher on a retake. Does my certificate update? ›

No. A certificate records the result at the time it was issued, so an existing certificate keeps its original score.

How does an employer check my certificate is real? ›

They scan the QR code on the certificate, or open its verification link. No account and no sign-in are needed.

Can I put it on LinkedIn? ›

There is no one-click LinkedIn button. Download the PDF and attach it, or share the verification link so people can confirm it themselves.

Do certificates expire? ›

No. They do not expire and they are never deleted.
