Courses & Learning Paths
Topics are your building blocks. Courses are the architecture. Group your topics into a structured learning path and let AI suggest the optimal study order.
What is a Course?
A course is a named collection of your topics, arranged in a specific learning order. It gives you:
- A structured sequence — Topics are ordered from foundation to mastery, so you always know what to study next.
- A unified progress view — A single progress bar shows how far you've come across all the topics in the course combined.
- A course-level exam — Test yourself across all topics at once with a single AI-powered exam that spans the entire course.
Creating a Course
Navigate to My Courses from the Dashboard. This is your central hub for all your learning paths.
Open the creation form. Give your course a descriptive title — for example, "Certified AML Specialist" or "Python Fundamentals". Add an optional description to remind yourself what the course covers.
From the Course Details screen, tap Add Topics. A panel slides up showing all your topics that are not yet in a course. Select one or more, then tap Add. Each topic can belong to only one course at a time.
Ordering Topics in a Course
The sequence in which you study topics matters. Learning Clarity gives you two ways to set the order:
Press and hold the grip handle on any topic row, then drag it up or down to the desired position. Your changes are saved automatically when you release.
Tap the AI suggest button and the AI will analyse the subject matter of every topic in your course, then propose a pedagogically optimal sequence — moving from foundational concepts to advanced material. Review the suggestion and save it, or adjust it manually afterward.
Taking a Course Exam
Once you have a course, you can take a single exam spanning all its topics at once — instead of running separate exams per topic.
On the Course Details screen, tap the Course Exam button to open the Course Exam Setup wizard.
All topics and subtopics in the course are pre-selected. Expand any topic to deselect individual subtopics you want to exclude, or tap a topic's checkbox to remove the entire topic from this exam run.
Choose the number of questions, question types, difficulty, and whether to use a timer — then start the exam. The AI generates questions drawn from across all selected subtopics.
Credit Cost
- Creating courses and reordering topics manually — Free. No credits consumed.
- AI Suggest Order — Costs a small number of credits (minimum 5) to run the AI curriculum analysis.
- Course Exam — Same credit model as a regular exam: credits are consumed once when the questions are generated and once when the AI grades your answers.
