Multilingual in Three Dimensions
Learning Clarity isn't just translated — it's multilingual at every layer. There are three distinct dimensions of language support, and each one works independently.
1. User Interface Language
The entire interface — menus, buttons, navigation, labels — is available in seven languages: English, Spanish (Español), French (Français), German (Deutsch), Italian (Italiano), Portuguese (Português), and Arabic (العربية). You can switch your interface language at any time from your Profile page. For Arabic and other Right-to-Left (RTL) languages, the entire layout mirrors automatically — navigation, text direction, charts, and interactive elements all adapt to RTL reading flow.
2. Explanation & Quiz Language
When you create a topic, you choose the language for your explanations and quizzes. The AI generates all Explain Mode content and Quiz Mode questions natively in that language — it's not machine-translated, so the result reads naturally. This means you can study any subject and receive teaching in the language you're most comfortable with.
3. Source Material in Any Language
Here's where it gets powerful. When you upload resources, the material can be in any language — and it doesn't need to match your explanation language. For example, you could upload a research paper in German, but choose to receive explanations and quizzes in English. Or upload lecture slides in Japanese and study them in Arabic. The AI reads the source material in its original language and teaches you in yours.
Age-Adaptive Experience
Learning Clarity uses your date of birth (provided during onboarding) to tailor the experience:
- Under 18 — The visual theme is friendlier, with a lighter tone, simpler language in explanations, and age-appropriate examples. The Supervision feature is available for parents and guardians.
- 18 and above — The interface uses a more professional theme with advanced vocabulary, detailed technical explanations, and adult-appropriate examples.
This distinction is automatic. You don't need to configure anything — the experience adapts to you.
