Examination History
Every exam you've taken is saved. Review past results, track score trends, and revisit the AI's feedback whenever you need it.
Your exam history is more than a log — it's a record of how your mastery has evolved over time. Spot trends, see which areas improved, and decide where to focus next.
Accessing Examination History
Go to History in the navigation menu, then select the Exams tab. You can also navigate directly via /history?tab=exams.
The Exams tab lists all past exam attempts in reverse-chronological order. Each entry shows:
- The topic, course, or plan the exam was taken against
- The date and time of the attempt
- Your overall score as a percentage
- The number of questions answered
- The exam scope (which subtopics were included)
Reviewing a Past Exam
Tap any exam entry to open its full results page. You'll see:
- Score breakdown — Overall percentage plus per-question results showing your answer, the correct answer, and the AI's explanation.
- Strong & weak areas — Subtopics where you performed above or below your average.
- AI-generated recommendations — Specific next steps: which subtopics to revisit in Explain Mode, and where a targeted quiz would help most before your next exam attempt.
Before retaking an exam, open your last attempt and read the AI's recommendations. Acting on that specific feedback is almost always more effective than studying everything again from scratch.
Exam History vs Quiz History
The Quizzes tab records per-subtopic quiz attempts. The Exams tab records full exam sessions. They are kept separate so you can track short-form practice and formal assessments independently.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is my exam history kept? ›
Indefinitely. Every exam you have taken stays in the Exams tab — there is no age limit and nothing is swept away over time. Deleting your account is the only thing that clears it.
Why is my quiz score not in the Exams tab? ›
Quizzes and exams are recorded separately on purpose. Per-subtopic quiz attempts live in the Quizzes tab and full exam sessions live in the Exams tab, so short practice and formal assessment can be tracked independently.
Can I retake an exam I have already taken? ›
Yes, and each attempt is saved separately. Before you retake one, open your last attempt and read the recommendations: acting on that specific feedback beats studying everything again from scratch.
