What Supervisors Can See
- Topics created — What subjects the learner is studying.
- Quiz scores — Performance on each quiz attempt.
- Progress metrics — How far the learner has advanced through each topic's sub-topics.
- Mastery levels — Aggregate understanding across topics.
How to Grant Supervisor Access
Supervisor access is controlled by the learner (or their parent/guardian for younger users). To add a supervisor, navigate to your account settings and invite them by email. They'll receive access to view your learning data — but they cannot modify your topics, take quizzes on your behalf, or access your account credentials.
Revoking Access
Supervisor access can be revoked at any time from the same settings screen. Once revoked, the supervisor immediately loses access to all learning data.
The Supervision feature is designed to support, not surveil. Use the data to celebrate wins, identify areas where your child might need encouragement, and have informed conversations about their learning journey.
If you're using Learning Clarity with students, the Supervision feature lets you track class-wide progress without requiring access to individual accounts. Each student grants you supervisor access independently.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a supervisor change my topics or take a quiz for me? ›
No. Supervisor access is read-only. They can see the topics you have created, your quiz scores, your progress through each topic and your mastery levels — but they cannot modify your topics, take quizzes on your behalf, or reach your account credentials.
Who decides who is allowed to supervise me? ›
You do, or your parent or guardian if you are a younger learner. A supervisor exists only because you invited them by email from your account settings, and nobody can add themselves.
What happens the moment I revoke supervisor access? ›
Access ends immediately. The supervisor loses sight of all your learning data straight away — there is no notice period, and nothing stays visible to them afterwards.
